Can I vote early?

Yes. Any person properly registered to vote may vote in person at his or her county courthouse, annex or other designated location beginning the thirteenth day before the election and ending the third day before the election. Early Voting is available on weekdays during regular business hours and on Saturdays from 9AM to 5PM. Please contact your County Clerk to confirm Early Voting times and locations.

Early Voting Periods for Upcoming Elections

Primary Election Early Voting Period:
April 25, 2018 – May 5, 2018

General Election Early Voting Period:
October 24, 2018 – November 03, 2018

You’ll need:
  • Your name as it appears on your West Virginia driver’s license or ID card
  • Your date of birth
  • Your West Virginia driver’s license or ID card number
  • Your last four digits of your Social Security Number
